Denise Sonnenberg
Denise Sonnenberg lives by her guiding priniciples which she calls
the
5Cs: Contribution, Collaboration, Camaraderie, Communication and
Connection. When she was introduced to Soroptimists International of
Huntington Beach, she knew immediately she could fulfill herself in
all areas by joining its membership.
As a relatively new member, she joined the International Goodwill &
Understanding committee and has been focusing on raising funds to
help Dr. Tozzer and his non-profit Dental Care for Children. With
her assistance, dental exams where given to 1400 underprivileged
children before the start of the 2008 school year. Always ready for
a challenge, she didn't let her lack of experience with SIHB limit
her and this year accepted the post of President-Elect. She looks
forward to helping the Chairs of the Soroptimists Committees bring
in more funding for women's and children's causes.
Denise is the Marketing Director for SonicWave Health which
distributes Sonic Whole Body Vibrations Trainers to the Long Term
Care Industry. Her mission is to see residents in assisted living,
retirement centers, nursing homes have a higher quality of life
through greater independence. A consummate networker, Denise calls
herself The Dot Connector, for her ability to put people together
for their ultimate goals of expanding their horizons and finding
solutions to their issues.
She has been married to her wonderful husband Michael White since
1991, and is step-mother to his two daughters Tova and Niesha. She
had two beautiful grandsons, Ty and Reece, and two fantastic
sons-in-law, Keith Pusl and Anthony Ziehmke.
