The Violet Richardson award winner for
2005 is 17 year old Laura Ponce. Laura is an outstanding
member of our community who lives and volunteers in the Oak
View Section of Huntington Beach. Laura is a student at
Ocean View High where she takes honors classes and
participates in the Business Academy.
Laura is highly regarded by the individuals she works with
and has a lifelong commitment to volunteerism. Laura has
established the goal of attending college and pursuing a
career in the medical field, and she is well on her way
there. Laura has a strong sense of commitment to her goals
and is truly a highly deserving recipient for our Violet
Richardson award this year.
